The new Arizona immigration law is certainly getting a lot of people excited. Many claim that it will lead to rampant racial profiling, wholesale arrests and deportation, and all manner of inhumane debauchery inflicted upon "undocumented visitors" in our Country. There is no doubt in my mind that this law was conceived and passed in an attempt to restore order in a state that is being destroyed from the inside by a criminal element largely originating south of the border. It appears to be nothing more than local codification of existing federal law that is widely being ignored in so-called "sanctuary cities" across the Country. I would suggest that anyone who feels Arizona is being too harsh on people who have broken immigration law, should look to our neighbor to the south for guidance. Let's talk about true international equality.

Forget about the debate the government parties and the geriatric media want us to have, “Are you a Republican or a Democrat?” The debate we need to have concerns what we were meant to be, not who they tell us we should be. Instead we should discuss issues of substance such as, “Are we a Republic or a Democracy?” for this will lead us to the truth. In today’s polarized political atmosphere conservatives shout “Republic!” while progressives scream, “Democracy!” In truth, neither term fully describes the boldest experiment to provide individual freedom and release human potential in the history of mankind. There is a third term needed if we are to grasp the qualities which makes us who we are.

With The Compassion Of IRS |

I am amused today from the news reports about the mandate provision of Obamacare. I think most of us understand the word mandate to mean requirement or directive. If there is an insurance "mandate" in Obamacare, then surely, we must purchase insurance under the new law. In a recent town hall type meeting, Democrat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz protested that the Government will not require Americans to buy health insurance . In addition the IRS Commissioner, Doug Shulman said similarly that they would simply review your tax return to see it the box is checked indicating coverage . "Requirement? No, we're not going to cuff you and throw you in jail." Maybe they will discuss it with you over a beer. You know, just sort of convince you how important it is that you see it their way. Well, I've dealt with IRS in the past, and I don't recall the experience being warm and fuzzy, and I definitely didn't get the impression that my compliance was optional.
